If you’re anything like me, your Thanksgiving might look a lot different this year – both in terms of size and diet!
We’re planning to stay home and celebrate with just us this year, something that makes me a bit sad since we traditionally have big family dinners, but also something that has me a bit excited.
This holiday will be a big change, but I’m excited to focus on my favorite people and make the holiday special for us whatever way I can.
Anyway, our big Thanksgiving meal won’t be quite as large as normal, but we’re still planning a feast! And this year? It’ll be low carb and keto!
Main Dish:
We all love our yearly turkey, but none of us want a month’s worth of leftovers so we’re doing a turkey breast!
This air fryer turkey breast is what’s on our menu. Small enough for the four of us, cooks in an hour, and the skin turns out crispy, and the meat is nice and juicy.
We highly recommend this turkey breast recipe!
Any leftovers you do have will work great in this leftover turkey casserole.
Thanksgiving Side Dishes
These side dishes are perfect for the holiday and all of them are low carb and keto! Pick a few favorites to complete your holiday dinner.
Browned Butter Cauliflower Mash
Rich, creamy, garlic mashed cauliflower! We add in Parmesan to make this keto cauliflower mash extra rich and flavorful and then we top it off with browned butter. It adds a rich, nutty flavor to the dish.
Broccoli Cheese Casserole
This low carb broccoli cheese casserole is ready in just about 20 minutes and is always a hit with my kids. Cheesy broccoli makes the perfect side to any grilled meat.
Cauliflower Stuffing
This twist on stuffing has all the same flavors without all the bread and carbs!
Cauliflower Risotto
Low carb, grain free, and full of flavor! This creamy Parmesan cauliflower risotto makes a great side dish and it's ready in no time.
Brussels Sprouts with Bacon
These Brussel sprouts with bacon are pan fried for a quick low carb side dish. Bacon makes everything better – especially Brussels sprouts!
Cauliflower Mac and Cheese
Extra creamy and cheesy cauliflower mac and cheese! This one is both kid friendly and keto friendly!
Sauteed Broccoli with Bacon and Garlic

This roasted acorn squash is my favorite swap for sweet potatoes. It has a similar taste and texture and it's so simple to prepare. We brush this with an easy keto maple butter to sweeten it up before baking.
Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Cauliflower
Roasting vegetables brings out their natural sweetness and totally transforms them into something delicious. We topped these off with crumbled bacon and shredded Parmesan. A sprinkle of red pepper flakes would be a nice addition, if you like a little heat.
Mashed Turnips
Turnips are low in carbs and high in fiber, magnesium, and vitamins. They make a great side dish option!
Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts
These brussels sprouts get browned around the edges giving them such great roasted flavor.
Healthy Broccoli ‘Rice' Casserole
This broccoli rice casserole is made with ZERO grains and instead uses cauliflower as the rice. It's extra cheesy and always a hit with my kids.
Parmesan Roasted Green Beans
These roasted green beans are tossed in Parmesan to give them a crunchy coating. Quick, simple, and these green beans are great with just about any main dish. We make them often.
Desserts:
It’s not Thanksgiving without pie!
We have two pies that we’re struggling to decide between.
This keto pumpkin pie is a bit upside down! No crust, but it has a fun streusel topping on top!
This no bake pumpkin pie is so creamy and loaded with pumpkin flavor – plus it doesn’t take up oven space, which is a bonus on the big day.
And, of course, keto pumpkin cheesecake is an option on the table too!
