This CHEESY CAULIFLOWER BAKE is one of the simplest ways to prepare cauliflower! Toss cauliflower florets in a little seasoning, bake, and then top it off with cheese! This makes a great keto side dish.
There are quite a few cauliflower recipes on this site, but I often seem to try to turn the cauliflower into something else.
Hello, cauliflower mac and cheese!
Oh, hi there, cauliflower potato salad.
I see you over there cauliflower tots.
But you know what? Cauliflower is good AS CAULIFLOWER!
Time to let it shine, my friends!
I tossed this cheesy cauliflower in a mix of homemade ranch seasoning to give it a little flair and oh man. My kids ate this right up.
Such a simple side dish, too!
How to:
Start with a head of cauliflower or a bag of cauliflower florets.
Drizzle the cauliflower with a little oil and then sprinkle on some onion powder, garlic powder, parsley, dill, and salt.
Bake for about 15 minutes and then top with shredded cheddar.
Continue baking until the cauliflower is soft and the cheese is melty.
It doesn’t get much easier than this!
Can I use frozen cauliflower?
Anytime I share a broccoli or cauliflower recipe, I inevitably get asked if frozen will work instead of fresh.
The answer is…yeah, if you don’t mind the flavor and texture of frozen.
Personally, we ALWAYS eat fresh because it tastes like a completely different (better) vegetable and the texture is about a million times better than frozen.

Frozen cauliflower should work, but the taste and texture will not be the same as fresh cauliflower. We highly recommend using fresh cauliflower.
